Who We Are

Jolie Schunke has more than 30 years of experience in the Himalayan mountains of North India, trekking, mountain biking, traveling by motorcycle and snowboard and ski touring.

Jolie is certified as a NOLS Wilderness First Responder.

Jolie thrives on adventure. She has taken/ guided people from America, Switzerland, France, Germany and India on treks and tours from Leh, Ladakah, to Padam in Zanskar, to the Spiti, Kinnaur, and Kullu valleys of Himachal Pradesh in North India. 

Jolie also has years of experience taking people on cultural tours from the Buddhist areas in the Himalayas to the Taj Mahal in Agra, to Varanasi, the most holy city for the Hindus and beyond. Her knowledge of the language and the people groups, along with the relationships she has established over the years with the locals give her the ability to offer very high quality and well rounded adventures.

Lobzang Bodh was born in a village high in the Spiti valley. His family has worked with horses in these mountains for generations. He has been guiding treks for 26 years. 

Lobsang takes care to make sure that everyone is safe and that everything is taken care of so that everyone can enjoy the trek to the fullest. He really enjoys making a trek a memorable experience!
